Now in its fifth year, Gomma Photography Grant is a grant contest tailored to fund photographers, both emerging and established, working among various genre. Gomma Grant is structured so to award undetected photographers from around the world.

Gomma Grant has quickly obtained a reputation of being ethical and quality-focused, with an eye to spot fresh talents. Winners and shortlisted photographers of this Grant are continuously supported and published throughout the world thanks to the wide network that Gomma has been able to gain during all these years.

Gomma Grant is open to everyone. Any medium, black & white or colour, analogue or digital. What we are looking for is consistency, personality and courage.

Photographers that have been recognized through the Gomma Grant are known to have evolved their career to a higher level, both professionally and artistically.

Established in 2004, Gomma has vowed to be a platform dedicated to photographers, a fresh, new space, unconditioned by trends and politics. A publishing company that allows established photographers to be represented and unknown artists to be noticed.

Arko Datto, Third Prize Winner at the Gomma Grant 2016 wins the VoiesOff Award. Congratulations to Arko! He also just recently joined NOOR and he's about to publish his trilogy.

Antonio Faccilongo, awarded Best Color Documentary Prize at last year Gomma Grant, has just recently joined the prestigious team of Reportage by Getty Images. He was also just recently awarded a Getty Grant of $10.000.

Esa Ylijaasko featured in the British Journal of Photography.

Esa Ylijaasko, First Prize Winner at the 2016 Gomma Grant, is interviewed and featured in the British Journal of Photography. "Working for two years with a Syrian refugee community in Istanbul, the young Finnish photographer has created an ongoing series that recently scooped the Gomma Grant."

Massimo Branca, the Second Prize winner at Gomma Grant 2015, has just published his first book showcasing the series Inside Outside Under Bucharest.

Gomma Grant 2015 Shortlisted photographer Michele Sibiloni has published his first book early 2016. The first edition of 800 copies went sold out in a matter of a few months and he's now printing its second edition. Congratulations to Michele!
